Next to Koh Phi Phi, Koh Tao is in my opinion the most beautiful island in Thailand. The underwater world is truly breathtaking. I have had my very first shark sighting while snorkeling at Koh Tao. I had so much fun traveling around the coast of the island making stops to snokel and dive along the way.

The atomosphere is simply amazing. It is a truly beautiful island.

What to do in Koh Tao

• snorkling or diving: Koh Tao is one of the cheapest places in the world to get a open diver licence
• Explore the island with a scooter
• relax and eat =)
• go to the island of Koh Nang Yuan

Delicious Food in Koh Tao

At the beach are many good restaurants, which are usually at the hotels, but they are not all that expensive and fairly delicious. Whether fish, meat or vegetarian, here you can eat very good.

Where to stay in koh tao

I stayed at In Touch and was very satisfied. This place is a little pricy but I felt it was worth it. Sometimes you need to spoil yourself. There are also super comfortable chairs on the beach and a cool swing. i enjoyed my time in Koh Tao a lot, and between a lot of nights in hostels, that felt really good =)

But you can also have a really nice but simple bungalow directly on the beach. This is about 5$.
